In a significant development, Apple has slashed the price of iPad 2
in India by Rs 5,000. The Apple iPad 2 will now be available for Rs
24,500. In the US, the iPad will be cheaper by $100.
Apple has slashed the iPad2 prices worldwide in a bid to compete with
the tablet PCs that have stormed the market these days in large
numbers.
In India, the 16-GB base model of the iPad 2 (Wi-Fi) is now priced at Rs 24,500. The 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G model will cost Rs 32,000.
