Mamata's West Bengal to launch TV Channel

After feeling the heat from the media on various issues ever since she came to power in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has decided to launch a newspaper and TV channel, which will be owned by the government.

"The government work is not being highlighted properly. We need our own news channel and paper to inform the people," she said.

Mamata accused the media of bias towards her and said the scribes are busy in reporting negative news about her and the government.
