AI Flight makes Emergency Landing in Pakistan

A flight of Air India made an emergency landing in a Pakistan airport due to technical glitches on Monday. The Airbus 319 was on its way from Abu Dhabi to New Delhi.

Around 130 passengers were on board the flight and all were safe. The flight made an emergency landing at Nawabshah airport in Sindh in Pakistan at 3:30 am after all its three hydraulic systems failed.

The plane landed after getting permission from the Pakistan authorities. The passengers will have to sit inside the plane till another carrier reaches from India.

A relief plane will reach the Pakistan airport from Delhi carrying a team of technical experts to repair the aircraft.

India's External Affairs minister is monitoring the situation closely. Sources said that the foreign secretary is in touch with the Indian High Commissioner in Pakistan for safe departure of passengers.
